bc65riv Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 is it possible to put a vinyl roof on a 65 riv that never had one?is it hard to do? who does it. i think there is an extra piece of molding that regular rivs don't have. is that piece available? any help on this matter would be appreciated thanx, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mr Riviera Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 Yes, it can be done and its not hard-you just need the correct trim moulding. Getting that is a bit of a challenge. There is one hole at the end of the spear on the current chrome piece that needs to be filled or it will show after you install the correct moulding. The strip under the rear window needs to go so you have those holes to fill as well but they dont show after the Vinyl is put on.
