JMac Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I'm trying to find out what car this radiator cap came from. It was found at my great grandfathers house. He had a car dealership that sold Dot, Veile, and Marmon. I gave the cap to a friend, and he put it on ebay without asking me. The auction will be canceled so that I can get it back. I can take some better pictures on Monday when I have it.The ebay item number is 110106782761The 3 pictures there should give you some idea of what this is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
oldford Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 I'm not sure about your specific cap, but the swastika was used by KRIT. Some say it was so undependable that the initials stood for Keep Right In Town.....Frank
1937hd45 Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 If I can fit the contents of a Ford Flathead transmission in a Priority FLAT RATE Box and ship it to California for $8.10 how does your "Buddy" get off charging $16.99 for a motometer? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
JMac Posted April 1, 2007 Author Posted April 1, 2007 I was thinking it was from a KRIT as well, but when I saw the question posted at the bottom of the listing I had my doubts. As for the crazy high shipping price.......I wish I knew why people think they can get away with that. Thanks for the help guys.
