Guest LouZ Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I have 2 90s, 1 just came from service, and both brake lights are Hard On (come on when key is on and don't blink or nuttin till you turn the key off) brakes seem to work fine, except the pedal seems a little more spongy than it was.. I'm going out there this morning to check the brake fluid level. (I'm thinking fluid leak, resevoir low) 2nd car Anti-Lock light comes on sometimes momentary, sometimes stays on for a minute. Both cars: motor comes on when I turn the key on and I push the brakes 3 or 4 times and the motor does not come on so I think the accumulator is working fine. Thanks, Lou p.s. If I do need an accumulator what info do I need at GM dealer?? lz
Guest LouZ Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I just cam back from checking Brake Fluid level, It's OK. When I turn the key on the motor runs for about 15 sec. and I steped on the brakes 5 times at moderate pressure and the motor did not kick back in. As I'm writing this I realized I should have counted how many times I had to steep on the brakes for the motor to run again. I'll do that next time I'm out there. LouZ OK with the key off I stepped on 5he brake about 25 times, Brake fluid came up in brake reservoir just slightly above the full line, then when I turned the key on the brake motor ran for about a full minute but now every time I step on the brake in both cars with the key on the motor runs for about 3or4 sec.I guess I need 2 accumulators..
