Brian S
Kingston Brass Carburetor, Updraft - Any ideas what it goes to?Mounting Bolt holes are 2 1/2" apart , on center. Intake bore in 1 5/16", choke 1 5/8" across. Not sure what it fits. It has a number on it , J89039 . On a tag it is marked (Kingston patented mar.9 th 1915 ) Fuel out seems to be where float would mount. (no float).See images under "Attachment" above. Pontiac59
I don't have an exact list but you can Google this one if you can find the model number on it. It sounds like the one I have, which fit certain models of Case and Allis-Chalmers tractors from the 1920s if I remember right. Mine had the model on the tag, I just had to clean some more grease off to find it.The brass is worth like $2.50 a pound just as scrap, if nothing else, if you need a starting point for a price weigh it and figure accordingly. Brian S
I tried the Google search first before posting here, but didn't have any luck.Perhaps I'll search Tractors. Always would rather keep intact before scraping.- Thanks
drwatson
Here's the original patent, long on tech, short on application, but you might find it interestingurl=link Kingston Carb /url = http://patimg2.uspto.gov/.piw?docid=US00...D%252BCCL/261/$
Pontiac59
You need to find the model number on it to find an application. I didn't say to scrap it, just to bear in mind that as scrap alone it has to be worth at least $25 - I wouldn't take a $10 offer on it.
