tc11003
Hi anyone have any ideas for rear struts? I changed my front stuts, thaught rears were ok, however when I hit certain bumps the rear end actually sways. I am replacing defective Monroes after only 14,000 miles. Guest EDBS0
When I sold my first Reatta I had some 50,000 + miles on Monroe Sensa-Trac Struts front and rear.
This is their top line and had no problems. What line of Monroes did you have? and don't they have a lifetime guarantee?
Think Gabriel makes struts for Reattas?
tc11003
Yes the old struts were sensatrac, a couple of local parts dealers dont even carry Monroe any more due to many failures. This seems weird, however true.

Guest
I have just installed Monroe's and hope they will last. I still have on order new top insulators. The old ones have rusted out metal washers, but after 4 weeks waiting I reused the old. At least with the Monroes' you can use a standard wrench to hold the shaft from turnning while removing the bolt.
[ 10-28-2001: Message edited by: warn ]
