122838B Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I am trying to find two grey horn buttons for my 90 coupe. Does anyone know the part number and where I can find them? I am getting ready to order an accumulator from GMPartsDirect and could order the horn buttons also if they have them in stock. But they will not take returns if you give them the wrong part number. Appreciate any help.
Guest MauiWowee Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I got mine new from Jim Finn, and they were the updated style, too. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
122838B Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 How do I contact Jim Finn. Have come across his name on many posts but never took down his contact information.
Barney Eaton Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 The horn buttons are still available from GM but not in all colors. You need 16750750 LEFT and 1675049 RIGHTThe left horn button is no longer made but the right is availableYou can order a 16750744 LEFT BLUE or 16750746 LEFT BURGUNDY and paint them. Also you might find them in wrecking yards as the Riviera, and some Oldsmobiles used the same steering wheel design.
DAVES89 Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 The Buick Roadmaster from '92-'97 use the same button. Removal is simple, 2 torx screws in back of wheel, then remove center airbag cover, and remove the buttons using a phillips screwdriver. Takes about 10 minutes. I have owned 3 Roadmasters over the years and have replaced them several times.
