Guest Roadmaster Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Here is a link a co-worker sent me that states a 1957 Plymouth (new shape) was buried in Tulsa in 1957 is to be dug up. Check out the article, seems interesting.http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/01/23/buried.car.ap/index.html
Guest whotmewory Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Yeah! I saw a +piece about this in - I think Cars and Parts magazine - or Hemmings Classic Car magazine - including a B&W photo of the car hanging from a crane being lowered into its "coffin."
Guest BruceW Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 The buried Plymouth has been the subject of a number of threads on the DF over the past few years. The URL for the latest thread is here:http://forums.aaca.org/showflat.php?Cat=...ge=0#Post342903
Guest JT Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Seems kind of pointless to me to bury a car then dig it up xx years later. Just doesn't seem near as interesting a story as finding an undiscovered old classic in a garage somewhere.
