Peter Gariepy Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 It snowed in Tucson! Been at least 10 years since the last snow. COOL EH!?
Shop Rat Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Peter, You could have taken that photo here. It looks just like what we had and about the same amount. It has actually warmed up here and it is currently 40 degrees at about 12:15 A.M. There were about twenty-five wrecks here that had to be cleaned up.

West Peterson Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Yes. And I was in your area on Sunday at the Freidlander Boy Scout camp. I was driving our troop's box truck and barely made it up out of the valley. I didn't get a chance to get any speed before ascending the the windy hill and I thought for sure I was going to be spending another night. Our bus made it out of there without any problem.
Guest mike burgess Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Our town got a little bit of snow but after a while it all turned to ice.
Guest imported_Bookreader Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Peter, your snow looked like our amount in this Media, PA area BUT the difference is that we are in such cold weather and probably will see more snow. I think it is great that even the "Sunny" parts of our country are getting to make a few snowballs this year. All kids should throw a snowball once in their life. Fran
bill pritchett Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Will you be ordering the snow ski kit for the Model As that they use in the Northeast. At least then you will be able to get around.
novaman Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 I've had the PERFECT winter so far. It has snowed, and we just had freezing rain yesterday. The perfect part is I didn't have to shovel anything or slide on anything. The roads have been warm enough that nothing has really stuck. Although with the dusting of snow last Thursday, enough southerners weren't able to drive on it. Wrecks everywhere. I could travel at 55 MPH with no problems (and could stop). Saw one guy just about wreck, trying to stop for a car that was on its side in a ditch. I slowed down went by and took off down the road (Activity indicated everyone was alright plus I could see the emergency vehicles coming).
Amphicar BUYER Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 That's not snow! This is snow!
