Hey Vito... the more the merrier!

What a great representation of body styles of the Riviera! This is great! I've never had a thread give so many ideas for my 65'.

Are there any 1970 Riv's out there?

That black '72 is one of the best mildly customized Boattails I've seen. Very Tasteful

I like the look of the unpainted, chromed road wheels.

I,too, like the last riviera model; and this one looks sweet.

Is that air-intake by the rear wheel functional? Did it come from the factory that way?

The side vents are from the Z-06 Corvette. You can buy either the functional or cosmetic. I wasn't sure if the contour of the vent would fit the contour of the Riv so I ordered the cosmetic ones since they were a third of the price. Someday, when I repaint the car I'll switch to the functional now that I know it will work. Thanks for the compliment.

Ok, this seems like a good place for my first post as a new ROA member. Here's my 72. I'm getting tired of running around making vrrrrooommmm noises though...

Gotta start somewhere, right?

Whats going on everybody,

I'm a very proud owner of a 64'Riv that I just recently bought last summer. After years of looking for a 65' I stumbled up a this beautiful 64 that an elderly woman had been storing since her husband died in 1984. I couldn't turne down the opportunity to buy it. With some minor work this 64' should hopefully be perfect.

Are you absolutely sure it's not a '71 ? - better check the VIN number !

I've purchased some things from "The Buick Store" (CARS Inc.). They seemed ok. The parts were sent pretty quick... but right after I made my order I called back to change the shipping address. They said "no problem" but sent it to the first address anyway. I've read a comment from a 69 Riv owner who indicated that he did not care for their service or attitude.

However, I will continue to use them as a resource. (I was just checking their catalog yesterday for body mounts and valve cover grommets)

I second that, Steve.... the 74-76 were exactly what Buick promised: "A luxury car of a most personal nature" ('75)and "A blending of excitement and elegance, performance and romance" ('76)

Drove quite a few (older)Rivieras lately... and yes there are model years which are faster, have better "looks".... but no modelyear could compare with the 75-76 Rivieras in luxury:

VERY NICE '75 GS!

I don't drive my '76 in the winter. But I do drive the '73.

One thing I like about the '73's front bumper is that it juts so far forward, it is resistant to damage occurring from rear ending another car--like I did yesterday after a huge snow storm

Well I've only had my '68 a few weeks, so I don't have any great pictures to share. I did manage to sneak it out of the garage to take some insurance and registration photos. It was a dreary and overcast day, but you get the idea.

Thanks. That's the down side to aquiring a ride this time of year (if you live in the north east). All you can do is look at it sitting in the garage, and get it ready for spring. Spring will get here, right?

Here is a picture of my 64 which I bought last summer. This car sat is storage for over 22 years. All I have done is some minor preventative maintenance and rims and tires and new exhaust, other than that, this is how I found it. Hope you enjoy, I know I sure do.............Robert

Hi guys

This is my first post and I thought I'd show my ride. Had the car since 1995 when it was shipped from Ohio to the UK. Since then it's been renovated and rebuilt mechanically over a number of years. I use it every season and so far it's won 15 awards for condition. Hope to be able to contribute to the discussions in future.
