Guest CL_Reatta Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 I was wondering if using a 91 Reatta ECM in my 90 (no TPI) would still be able to control my non TPI engine, and be able to control a early 90's 4T60E transmission out of a Cadillac (The F-7 I believe is what it is called)
Guest F14CRAZY Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 ey Brian. Ryan and I believe that a '91 ECM will run a '90 car fine. I actually have a '91 ECM in stock. I can send it to you if you wanna try plugging it in to see if the IPC and climate control, etc work. Are there any risks in this?
padgett Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Didn't the EGR change from analog to digital ? (You are talking "L" vs "C" 3800).If the IPC does not work correctly, you should be able to replace the data stream code (at the top of memory just before the interrupts)
