touch screen

I have a touch screen that most of the time the screen change buttons and screen are dead to the touch. Other times it works just fine. I have another that the touch buttons always works fine but the CRT screen is scrunched to the center half. Is it possible to exchange the touch screens on the CRTs?

i would find the crt repair sevice on ebay and have somebody else fix it. it sounds like a control problem, have you tried changeing the crt controler?

Yes. The touch screen is a separate device overlaying the CRT.

The guy on Ebay who does it for $150 did mine and it fixed it completely, it works like new, I highly recommend.
