I am trying to find some info on a 1962 Cutlas F-85 convertis a The car has a V8 with chrome valve covers and a 4-spd.

This is not my car so I can not verify that these are correct numbers.

The block # is I 105746

The head # is ER 12743

Vin tag 621C11431

The data plate has:

62-3167

Body BC 1133

Trim 995 Top 1

Paint CC

Acc LF -J8

I would appreciate any/all info you can give me.

I don't have all of my engine information near me, but I think '62 215 engine numbers start with an S.

1 is for F-85 Deluxe series

C is for the South Gate, California assembly plant

11431 is the production sequence

3 is for Oldsmobile
