IRON HORSE
Hi,
Just replaced mine, not hard at all.
Needs socket made just for that, Auto Zone has them for rent, $15.00, refundable.
Tools: socket, extention, ratchet.
Disconnect wire, insert wire into socket, wrap wire around extention, if engine is cold, and you can't get it out do not try to force it.
Leave tool set up on O2, (you may want to remove ratchet)run engine to rise temp.(use gloves very hotttttt)!!! this should make it easier to remove.
Good luck,
Iron Horse
4907
jforr123@aol.com
Guest
How much is a o2 sensor? I think mine may need replacing since I average only 15-16mpg and have for a couple of years.
