Can some one tell me how to get the dash knobs off on a 51 Victoria? Also what is the best way to refinish the instrument panel? Mack

I just did my 50 and the 51 should be the same some unscrew and some snap and some you just have to twist off.

With the headlight switch- there's a little button on the headlight switch. push this button in and pull on the hl knob, the knob and rod will come out as an assembly. To reassemble just push it back in until it clicks.

I was looking at an original 35,000 mile '51 the other day and noticed the dash was satin not full gloss.

Even tho it's a bit later, my original '56 Ford has a satin dash too and the color is not the exterior color.
