it looks to be a universal kit with a nice title. I looked it over and it doesn't seem it's special. Would be nice if it was all ready to go and could just be plugged in.

Besides, if you're getting an alarm/remote starter, get one with a pager. Nice having like 1/2 mile range <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

actualy, there is an older model cell phone that sends out signals when it gets an SMS message, and could esily be modded to a remote starter, with a little know how. go to hackaday.com

they have alot of stuff about hacking, hence the name!

That would work pretty well, and range would be more or less infinite

yeah. they use it for a lot of things. too bad i dont remember what the phone is called, but i bet its under cell phone hacks.

here is an SMS cellphone vcr controller. they used it to remote control a vcr. the phone is an erricson t28, or t10, maybe others.
