Richard S Posted September 24, 2001 Share Posted September 24, 2001 There has been some discussion on this topic in past posts. It would be nice to lower the Reatta to reduce the center of gravity. One of the problems is dealing with the rear suspension, which uses a transverse leaf. How would you go about lowering the rear without destroying the ride and handling. Guest Posted September 25, 2001 Share Posted September 25, 2001 I'm not saying it doesn't look great; just pointing out that I have never heard of a cost effective way of doing it that is a good compromise of ride and handling. Actually, a former owner sent me a digitally altered picture of his car lowered and we both agreed that it would be great if we could get from here to there. I have laid up under the rear of my 90 while installing the cross flow muffler trying to imagine a solution and have not found one. Any new ideas are more than welcome.
