Jim Posted December 14, 2006 Share Posted December 14, 2006 The Quad driver in the ECM has 4 drivers and will bring up a code 26 when the ECM sees a problem in any of the following circuits. Canister purge, SES light, Low speed fan, high speed fan, A/C relay, Hot light, TCC solenoid or any of the 3 EGR solenoids. This is a simplistic answer for what the Quad driver does. There are 4 pages of diagnostics for this code in the shop manual.My car also is occasionally bringing up this code and I also will have to look into it one day.
