vernf Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I am new at this site, so bear with me - - I found a Firestone blower which fits on the side of a car, filled with water and served as an air conditioner or "swamp cooler" as it was sometimes called. Can anyone please tell me the correct name and how I can find out its sale value?
MCHinson Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 A couple of months ago, a member "TOPLESS", was looking to buy some of those. Click on "Search" above, and type in the text "Swamp Cooler", and you should find that thread so you might then communicate with him. Good luck.

1942aerosedan Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 it depends on the shape and style later styles like the one you have and others made by Thermador and Allstate are worth between $150 and $350 and the early smaller style bullet shaped ones go for $250 to $550 or more depending on who's bidding on ebay.
