88blue90black Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I was just wondering how many saphire blue firemist reattae where made. It seems all the 88's and the 89's that I see are red or white. Very rarely do I see a black or claret red one. Never do I see a saphire blue one.By the way... does anyone know who has the driftwood in Eau Claire, WI? My brother and I saw this one May 5, 2006. We honked our horn... he lifted his headlights, we waved.... then we left. We kicked our selves for not stopping and talking to this guy. It was a nice one.Thanx for the info. I just wanted to see if the one I have is worth restoring, or if I should part it out.
Barney Eaton Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 The graphs posted by EDBSO from the database are not "official" they represent the cars on the database, with more cars we get more accurate numbers.I do have "official" numbers for 1988 but nothing for 1989The 1988 color numbers are........Red = 2067 = 43.9%White = 884 = 18.8%Black = 694 = 14.7%Silver = 418 = 8.8%Blue = 342 = 7.3%Burg = 187 = 4%Grey = 116 = 2.5%You will notice that the database and "official" % is pretty close
Guest sptfr43 Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Hello Barney, do you have numbers for the 91 coupe with red/ red with black moulding all options except cd? or where to find them?thanks
Barney Eaton Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Not yet, I started with the lower production color and since red and white were the most popular, I have not done those colors.
