In most Australian States and Territories kerbside steering ( L.H.D. here ) is legal on imported vehicles over 25 years of age. This can be either full registration for every day use or concessional license for club purposes which attracts a reduced annual license fee.

Is there a problem in the USA with kerbside steering ( R.H.D. ), I seem to recall seeing many country US Postal Service vehicles which were R.H.D.???

Oh Man! I was wondering where all those nice Buicks went. And summer time too. That's making me jealous given the 20 some odd degree temperature status right now...

If you have another look there are quite a few RHD cars....most if not all of the 30's cars were RHD and no there weren't any teens there. We had a 1925 Buick at Sunday's show but he left before I got a picture of it.

As is probably happening everywhere people are opting to use their later model cars (if you can cal 50's and 60's Buicks Later models)to go on club runs due to the higher volume of traffic and the lack of consideration some people have for people driving older cars.

LHD, as Stuart said above has been legal here for some years now and has led to a noticeable increase of importing of Buicks (and other lesser models) into Australia. Some fabulous cars have been brought in over the past 10 years. My 65 Wildcat convertible which I brought in just a couple of months ago has been to a few club runs now and I have found the transition to driving LHD in RHD traffic to very easy and is now second nature. I love it.
