This is one of my Reatta's. In the attachment is a 90 black/tan combo with 96,000 miles. The VIN tells me that it's the 3,687 out of 8,515. It has the 16 way seats, and a ten disc cd player(aftermarket). Other then that, she's pretty plain jane.

I also have a 88 blue that is in need of total restoration. It had in interior fire and took out everything. Nothing to salvage. I do have a parts car to switch the interior. The only thing to prevent that is the roof is really messed up due to the fire. So what I want to do is cut the roof off the the parts one and weld it to the other. This one has 90,000 miles on it.

What do you guys think of Blue with Tan.

By the way... I don't know if there is a thread on how to desipher VIN's... I have the info, if any of you are interested to see what prodution number you car is.

Since the Reattas were the only car built at the Craft Centre, the production sequence is the vin number.

In 1990, there were 545 black coupes built, they were available with tan, grey, and burgundy (red) interior. GM's numbers does not tell us how many of each black coupe came with a particular interior color.

You may find that putting another interior into the blue '88 may be more difficult than it seems. Keep in mind that it may not just be the trim, but the plastic structures inside could have also been harmed.

Wiring will also be a living nightmare

Can you edit that photo? Can't see much more than lights and wheels.
