swhowell Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Hello Peter, I too am restoring a 1924 el special 6 Touring car. My car came to me pretty much complete and I have a lot of pictures of it before I started to take her down for restoration. My car came out of a Ga barn about 1980 after being there since 1933. She was apparently stored there as all the gas had been drained. It then went to another location in Ga. were it sat in a garage until I got it about 2 years ago. When we got her here I scooped all the oil out of the pan and changed it, changed the coil and battery put some gas in her and she fired right up. I could not believe how well it ran after sitting for 72 years! Anyway if I can provide any pictures or information just let me know. Thanks and may God bless< Seaton
