Did the Caprice doors change after 1986?? I know Chevy restyled the Caprice in 1990, but in 1989 the Caprice really didn't look much different from the 1986. Without seeing the two of them side by side, there might be a difference that I'm not aware of.

Now the reason I'm asking this is because a lot of the local police agencies used the Chevy Caprice for police cars. If you can find and old police car in a junk yard, it should have the power window set-up that you'd be looking for.

I know in 1989, the Chevy Caprice had low bid for police cars in New York State, and part of the police package included power windows.

I think 1986 was the last year for a 2 door caprice. John Worden
