Guest F14CRAZY Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 It should happen whenever the driver's door close. The instrument panel also does its "light show" thing.
Guest mongeonman Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 i had the same problem,i fixed the switches that are inside the drivers door, one on the latch and the other on the outside door handle,i think they get tired and they break and fall in the door.
Guest grkman1 Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 so to remedy this problem, there are switches that need attention? Im not quite sure I understand where and how to fix the problem... thanks
Guest mongeonman Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 you have to take out the door panel to fix those switches, then take out the door handle latch rod set,at the end of that rod set you will see a electrical gadget(switch)with 2 wires, test this one to see if its good.now that the latch rod is out, look at the outside handle(the section that is inside the door, again their will be another gadget with 2 wires that moves wen you pull the handle, thats the one you have to test this one to.you should do that on both doors i think(thats what i did and everyting started to work again).d ont forget to check all the connections.good luck, iknow its a hell of a job but it is worth it to see the fireworks and the reatta inscription.
Guest grkman1 Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Thanks ever so much....Now I am curious to see what you mean about "fireworks" Ill have to do this as soon as I have some time.Again, thank youGeorge
