Is that a swirl head? the chamber has so much reshaping it's hard to tell. Cnat see the somender (sp?) groves in that shot, got another that shows them?

If that elusive 30+ MPG is still you goal you might consider shedding some bottom end reciprocating mass as well...

Yes it's a swirl head. The groove is just barely visible. Only one. I'll keep the forged crank with the early block. It's good insurance for a block that was designed for 86 hp.
