If anyone has a catalog and could help me determine what is correct and what may be a modern day equivalent it would be greatly appreciated. ply33 Posted May 6, 2001 Share Posted May 6, 2001 My 1974 Champion spark plug recommendations for cars 1920 to 1950 shows 1933-36 Chevrolet as using a "old type number" of J-5 (2-Rib Type) and a "new type number" of UJ-12.<P>I don't know if the UJ-12 is available now or not, but maybe you can cross it to something that is.
