Guest carmallguy Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 We have done alot of work on the club listings on our site and invite all the regions to add their club to our site, their is no fee for this.Look below and see what we did for the Illinois Region AACA http://www.classiccarmall.net/classified2-785.htmEach region can create an account and then create and edit their club listing at will.I want to say I hope this is not out of place, if so please move it to were it belongs, this is not a commercial advertisement
R W Burgess Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Oh Yes! "The Illinois Region...the "Oldest" Region in the AACA!" It's an inside joke, unless you attend the Annual Meeting each February in Philadelphia. Laura McDonald, the president(?) of that region makes a point "each" chance she gets to announce the "Oldest Region" fact to everyone around. Laura's a card. You'd have to meet her to appreciate this fact. BTW, thanks for inviting all regions to use your web site.Wayne
Guest carmallguy Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I talked to Pat today and Pat will be adding regions to our site, I told Pat that the chapters could Still go in under their own states and create their own pages as well.Clubs will need to create their own accounts for each of their own chapters, independent of the AACA main account. This way the club can customize the clubs own pages and upload their own pictures.Any club linking to us would be greatly appreciated, though it is not required; and may not be possible for some site because of the web site design.
R W Burgess Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 No problem.....What was your first name?I'll let my "Mike" know about this. He can put the Northern Neck Region site on there.Wayne
Amphicar BUYER Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Hi Tim! THis is a good guy. We've spoke on the phone some recently and I believe he is on his way to creating one of the few actually good buy/sell sites for the collector car hobby. He has done a lot towards making and keeping it safe. Do check it out and look over the security he has provided. Something not found hardly anywhere, you can find his phone number in the 'contact" page and call a real live breathing person!Once I have more time I will be taking you up on your offer Tim. I sent one of my Amphi friends to advertize his Amphi.
