bubba Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 This trunk was supposed to have come off a brass era Buick according to the person that I bought it from but could be used on other makes. It needs to be restored. You can see the condition in the pictures. I have more pics if interested. The lid uses the leatherette material as a hinge and it is partially torn but it still works. It measures 28" wide, 15" deep, 15" high at the back and 12 3/4" at the front. The lock says Corbin, New Britain, Ct. and I don't have the key.I am looking for $125 plus shipping. I live on Long Island, NY if you want to pick it up.email is bimorph (insert @ here)yahoo.com
1937hd45 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Nice trunk, and it's priced right, I think the 1928-32 era is more likely. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
bubba Posted November 11, 2006 Author Posted November 11, 2006 I have been told by another collector that this went on the back of a brass era touring car.You can tell by the flat spot on the top before it slants towards the front.
