bwarren
I noticed in one of the pictures, that the front strut towers are silver/grey. Should they be Green, as the rest of the car is?
Jim
If you look at the underhood picture you see it has the Teves ABS and the strut towers are painted silver or grey. It is a '90 that has been repainted and someone put on '91 wheels. All of the green '91's had tan interiors.I drive a green '91, my oldest son drives a green '91, my youngest son drives a green '91 and I have a green '91 parts car. juddev
OMG, this is the reatta that I flew to Rhode island to buy last year, I brought a full abs system and tools with me, I fixed the brakes (pump and motor) and when I went to test the brakes , the brake line blew, I fixed the line and then it blew in another place. NO Way was I going to buy it (really rusty underneath) Cracked windshield ect, and drive it back to Minnesota, now I am stuck in a small town in RI with no ticket home. Great parts car, but a driver, never. A very nice pretty girl owned it and her parents gave me the royal tour of that area of RI. I ended up getting a ride from her parents to a bus stop that would take me to the Boston airport, but the tour I received, made us late to the bus stop, I then had to take a bus to downtown Boston and walk from there to another bus station that would go to the airport, all the time I was carrying 125 pounds of abs system and tools, needless to say that it was a trip I wont soon forget, and the icing on the cake was, when I got home and told this story to my girlfriend, she then accused me of just going to RI to just sleep with her, I was sorry I ever told her she was young and cute. She no longer is my girlfriend, I miss her occasionally. What a miserable trip and believe me, I will never fly to buy a reatta in a rust belt state again. ncgirl05
You know juddev, I was wondering how all that turned out - I remember that girl trying to sell her car and she kept lowering the price. Last thing you had said was that you would be flying there with an ABS system and driving it home..... and now we know "the rest of the story"! BTW, if your girlfriend thought you went through all that BS just to sleep with the girl, you are much better off with her! Just my $.02!
