headlights motors

Hi guys I am new to this forum, but I am not new to Reatta's. I have owned 3 a 88 (long gone) a 90 (currently being rehabed) and now a 91 (crowning glory). I just got it and it is great, with the minor exception of the headlight motors. They like all of them are tempermental. I see that there is something called barneycranks??? What are they and more importantly where can I get them if they will help me enjoy driving the car at night???

Welcome. Barney has a great kit to fix the headlight problem. I'm sure he will respond. However you could do a search here and read up the very common issue.

A little info at the bottom post of this thread page under "headlight motor bell cranks"...Contact Barney Eaton for these special parts by email t barney@texas.net . I nderstand he will not be answering emails until Saturday though.

Yup, you probably want the Barneycranks. Barney's a good ol boy, I had the honor of meeting him <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

You have bad rollers, bad bellcranks, or both, though its best to do everything. Barney offers a nice kit with all you need.

I will add pix as soon as I get it detailed, but she is sweet. I have contacted Barney and brdered 2 sets one set for my 90 ( hope to be my everyday rider untill I retire)
