Tacoma Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 There is a 1990 white Reatta convertable being auctioned at Barrett Jackson, Scottsdale AZ. in their January auction. Lot # 27. The problem I have (looking at it on their web site) is that it has 1991 wheels. I called Barrett Jackson and they said it was registered by the seller as a 1990. The did give me the VIN number though. It is 1g4ec33c9lb90622. Is it in fact a 1990. If so, did Buick put 91 wheels on any 90's or is this an owner mod.
Vincent Vega Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I hope it goes for 600,000.00. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Guest CL_Reatta Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Yes, it is a 90 but it unfortunately looks like it was just an owners mod since the leather is gray and not white and there is pin striping.
Barney Eaton Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The only 1990 with 16" 1991 style wheels were the 65 Select Sixty convertibles. It appears some former owner liked the 1991 style wheel. Also, the vin number need one more digit.
