IPC Electronics Questions

Looking for some help on the IPC of my '90. Just bought a replacement from Jim Finn but I have a couple of issues. When the door is open the security light doesn't flash as it did before. Can anyone tell me if <span style="text-decoration: underline">all</span> of the warning lights in the lower section are supposed to light when the test button is depressed. "Inflatable Restraint", "Security", "Service Engine Soon", and "Washer Fluid" do not light. "Inflatable Restraint" does light up upon starting the car but then goes out like it should.

I also need some electronics help. I have tracked the component that gave up it's "Magic Smoke" on my original IPC and would like to replace it to see if I can make it functional again. The problem is the Motorola transistor doesn't have a standard P/N I.D. Can anyone I.D. this or point me in the right direction to find a cross-reference? I've tried the usual searchs online with no luck and my local electronics component guru's seem stumped also. That scares me because these guys have been around for a while. I have sent a request to ON Semiconductor (formerly Motorola) tech support but I don't hold out much hope for an answer. I've attached a pic if anyone can help.

Mike...All the lights should light when you press the test. You might check the lamps and replace all if you need to replace any.

I work in electronics but from the picture I can?t help you with the component ID. KennyV.
