Newbie with Unknown Year on Dodge; view very bad photos please.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about this old Dodge that I found buried in some pine in my yard? Like the year and model (dump truck or pickup truck)?

Ive got a 46 that looks almost just like that.

Has to either be a 1946 or 1947. 1945 was a black out model and yours has chrome so it rules that out and the grill style changed after 1947.

Should be a date on the passenger's side of the bell housing that wil be within about 30 days of the actual date of production.

The model number along with the serial number shoulb be located on a metal plate in the door jam
