Windshield wiper motor fusable link.

I just replaced the windshield wiper motor and also replaced the fuse which was blown. However the new wiper motor does not work and there is no power to the circut. The owners manual says it is protected by a fuseable link but I can't identify it. Can anyone give me a hand, I want to sell this car after it is fixed.

I looked at the 1988 and 1991 manuals and do not see a fuseable link.

Fuse #12 supplies 12V to the wiper control.

At the motor, there are the following wires... Purple =12V input only when set on HI. Black is ground. Pink = pulse input Dark Green = (another pulse input?) grey = washer

There is also a red and dark blue that go to the washer pump.
