Guest drobertson Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Older restoration on solid '55 Star Chief. This was the actual car the Franklin Mint used for their pattern for their die cast car. Odometer shows 94K, believed to be original. The interior/exterior is Teal/White. The Pontiac color code is Turquoise Blue Poly and White Mist. The car has had the transmission rebuilt, complete new brakes, aluminized dual exhaust, newly recovered seats, carpet, dash repainted, 5 new radials, restored polished skirts, new white paint, upholstered trunk, rechromed bumpers, new, not recored, radiator, water pump, and many NOS parts too. The car came with power steering, brakes, and antenna, clock, dual outside mirrors, electric wipers, radio, heater, courtesy and back-up lights, and automatic trans. The engine is the original 4bbl 287 V-8. For reliability, it's been upgraded to an alternator, but I still have the original generator. The radio is a Custom Auto Sound AM-FM-Cassette unit that custom fits the dash board, no cutting. There are two speakers in the rear deck. The original radio is also included. I have a very low asking price of $13,900. More pictures available at drobertson@wi.rr.com. 414-475-1339
