Guest grkman1 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I was told today by a mechanic that he couldnt change the bulb of the white driver's side turning light. He said the bumper/facia has to be removed to do this. Any suggestions? Thanks
Jim Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 All of the bulbs can be changed without removing the bumper. Some are accessed by reaching up from under the bumper and the others can be reached by opening the headlight and removing the black bezel around the headlight bulb to give you room to remove the parking light bulbs.
Guest F14CRAZY Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 The white 890 halogen bulbs are indeed difficult to get to, but not difficult enough to warrent removing the bumper and stuff. For the driver's side I went ahead and removed the relay center, and I removed the battery for the passenger side. It seems like I removed the coolant tank also, but I may be wrong. Was a while back.
Guest EDBS0 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Nice avitar JimI can replace the bulb in the parts store parking lot from under the bumper in less than 1 seconds. I prefer to lay on a plastic bad or newspaper or be wearing a leather jacket to do the job.
