What is the typical cost for struts & shocks on 1990 Reatta?

Brenda, I recall when I replaced my struts that the fronts were the more expensive--somewhere close to $200 for aftermarkets for the pair, uninstalled. The rears were considerably cheaper.

What strut upgrades are available, or have you guys used? For me, replacement time is always upgrade time, especially when it comes to handling. Who makes a replacement strut that offers improved stability, cornering, response?

Bought my back struts from www.shockwarehouse.com they cost about $70.00 each. Fronts go for about $60.00. They also have mounting kits. They sell Monroe Sensatrac. Service was good and had no problem installing them. I would suggest taking the strut/spring assy to your local autoparts store and have them disassemble and reassemble the things. I once nearly put a spring thru the garage siding and was thankful I wasn't standing in front of it when it let go.
