Guest Posted August 24, 2001 Share Posted August 24, 2001 Brenda, I recall when I replaced my struts that the fronts were the more expensive--somewhere close to $200 for aftermarkets for the pair, uninstalled. For me, replacement time is always upgrade time, especially when it comes to handling. Who makes a replacement strut that offers improved stability, cornering, response? Arrallen Posted August 25, 2001 Share Posted August 25, 2001 Bought my back struts from <A HREF="http://www.shockwarehouse.com" TARGET=_blank>www.shockwarehouse.com</A> they cost about $70.00 each. Fronts go for about $60.00. They also have mounting kits. They sell Monroe Sensatrac. Service was good and had no problem installing them. I would suggest taking the strut/spring assy to your local autoparts store and have them disassemble and reassemble the things.
