hello!

I would like to announce that my 1989 Olds Toronado is for sale.

Asking price is US $400.

The car is in New Jersey.

Comes with many valuable spare parts. The car runs and drives; it has been a one family car since new; I have the original dealer window sticker, the original sales brochure and the manual. In my opinion this car is an excellent candidate to restore.

I would like to find somebody who appreciates the car and keeps it alive.

Body is straight, the car was never wrecked.

Here is what's wrong with it: it needs paint. The tranny shifts fine, but 3rd gear is like neutral. So drive in second and shift into D/Overdrive at around 45 mls/h, and shift back after you go slower then 45. I drive it like that for two years already. Tires need replacement, camshaft sensor needs replacement. One front axle (half shaft) rubber boot is bad.

Parts that had been replaced recently: crankshaft sensors, harmonic balancer, electrical connectors, airflow sensor, battery, alternator, head liner. All electrical grounds have been cleaned.

Car starts right up in the morning, engine runs smooth and powerful without burning any oil.

Spare parts that go with it:

transmission (appox. 100 kmls), body computer, engine computer, heated electric outside mirror left and right, 2 original alloy rims, electric antenna, oil and water cooler, rearlight cover complete (costs $800 at GM !!), dashboard display, cassette player and radio, front bumper with fog lights and more.

Anybody interested?

Drop me a line or call me @ 917 596-6337 ask for Mike
