Guest asb9606 Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Hello what do Iuse to lub the water pump on cars with the grease fitting??thanks asb9606
34 Dodge Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 At the bottom of this page, jump to the WPC site. Someone asked that question and there are many responses and sources. For my 1934 Dodge, I go to my local fire station and they grease my pump with their fire pump grease. It's a thick, blue waterproof grease. It's worked fine for me for years.Ken Sobel
DodgeSavesUMoney Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Ken's right, this question is Deja Vu. I have always used the water pump grease that Snyder's Ford Parts sells by the tube for $3.75, item number A-8500. http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/ModelAParts/WaterPump/1932 I also heard the Lubriplate product is pretty good.
