Could somebody tell me which year is my continental 5EH 57 295 ? I think that is 1946.

Luis: what are the numbers stamped on the front cross member by the drivers side motor mount on your car? Best clue as to what year your car is.

Luis 5EH 57 should be a 1946 Continental coupe. The serial number should start with Hxxxxxx

A 1947 should have the prefix 76H before the body number and 7Hxxxxxx for the serial number. A 1948 will be 876H prefix before the body number and 8Hxxxxxx for the serial number. If the hubcaps have not been changed the 46 early 47 have an octagon center emblem and the late 47 and 48 have Lincoln script on the front hubcaps. The hood emblem for the 46 early 47 will be a pair of wings on a gold ball and the 47/48 will have a spear on a gold ball. Of course these items could be changed or missing from your car.
