The only way that car would be worth anywhere close to that much money, is if it comes with a percentage of Tiger's winning over the next couple of years.

My guess is the price was set with the idea of being an attention getter, and getting people to talk about it. It's that's the case. it worked..!

It's Cheap advertisement for the dealership. and, who knows, perhaps P.T. Barnum was right, and one of those suckers in in the market for a new Buick..!

Warren Buffet's Lincoln Town Car was donated to charity and was bid up to something like $73K, so if a Lincoln's worth that much to somebody, perhaps the Lucerne could fetch about three times more?

To me, a key thing would be if the Lucerne is the "standard car", which comes with front buckets and a full console rather than if it has "Three Passenger Front Seating".

Just some idle thoughts . . .

About a year ago, some clown had a slightly modified Regal on ebay, claiming it was "Tiger's Regal."

When you read the fine print, it was a car modified for him to use at a golf tournament. It was never titled in his name, and other than the seller's claims, it had no legitimate paper trail back to Tiger, which is a must-have if you are trying to establish a car with a celebrity. Bottom line was Tiger probably drove it a couple of times at a golf tournament. And, oh, yeah, the price for that Regal was ridiculous also.

The bottom line is--buyer beware!

I can sell you my Reatta for only $150,000, it was driven by Tiger Woods also. in fact while your at it I can sell you my Trek mountain bike for $90,000 that was ridden by Lance Armstrong. Proof?, my proof is "Saw it on TV" (look at questions asked if you don't get it)
