trimacar Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Hi- I live 2 hours from Hershey, want to bring a car up for sale, have spaces, but where and how do you park a truck and trailer to unload and drive to field (car is 1936 Pierce, I can maybe drive it maximum a mile, set up with1/4 gallon gas tank, great unrestored car!)? Been going to chocolate town for years, new problem, advice? thanks David Coco
Steve Moskowitz Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 David, the trailer parking is less than a mile from the car corral and you will be able to unload at the site anyway. The trailer parking is on Rte. 39 just past the corral going north.
KRK Sr. Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 David, if not a show car, the AACA Museum has rented parking for the week in past years, they have had a shuttle too. I would give them a call. Link on home page of AACA. They are close to the fields. Karl
trimacar Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 OK thanks for information. Hope to have it at the Pierce tent, not at car corral. Thanks guys, I can smell the chocolate! David Coco
Steve Moskowitz Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Ok, the closest trailer parking still is the field on Rte. 39. It will be about a mile or so to get on the Chocolate Field...In case you are stuck in traffic I'd make sure I did not cut the fuel too low.
