packard grille need to identify

Hi I need help to identify this grille thought was a 54 but not sure also if anyone has idea of what a reasonable price would be for it thanks

I believe that surround will fit both 1953 and 1954 Packards, though possibly not all '54s. Some series had chrome bands wrapping around the sides just above the bumper, below the divider bar that locates the parking lights. I don't know if that's a seperate piece or part of a second grill surround.

Thanks for help this does still have some sort of extension attached to one side it is bent up but might be saved other side is missing , <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />chrome i think is not to bad i am going to try and polish it see what happens freind found it in some stuff he bought thanks again

there is a slight difference, the 53's where painted with a clear coating due to a shortage of chrome, the 54;s did not have a coating, the 53 tended to pit more easy than the 54's do to the shortages of the koren war..

You have three different pieces assembled together there. The lagest piece, the outer shell fits all '51-'54 models, different pieces attached to change the overall appearance. The two added pieces in the photo identify this as a '53-'54, those could be removed (fasteners) for a '51-'52 guy who needs the shell. Are there any significant cracks in the shell?
