novaman
That's why I'm going to be at the museum when it opens on Saturday, Sept 30th. I want to see it and that will be the only chance I have.
West Peterson
Saw it this weekend. Pretty nice. It is the only one of the original 12 that has been restored authentically. This one was done by the West Michigan Region of the AACA, led by Don Mayton with more than 30 other volunteers who worked on it for more than 7 years. The one that sold at Barrett-Jackson had been modified considerably.
Ron Green
David, see if you can talk them into handing over the keys. We'll take it for a short spin over to Amish country. Excellent picture West. Nice to see one has been done back to original. Lots of surface area and work restoring one of these.
Guest imported_CarFreak
The Futurliner will be at the Hershey Swap Meet from October 2-7 which is the week after it will be on display at the AACA Museum. You can check out which shows that it will be displayed at www.futurliner.comIt doesn't have its hubcaps on in your pic. I have been fortunate to see it a couple times this summer. Gives me goosebumps everytime.

Guest imported_CarFreak
Just one more look - By the way, they are still looking for financial donations to continue restoration work. Please be generous and put some dollars in the bucket. Thanks,A Futurliner Fan

West Peterson
I photographed early in the morning to avoid the crowds. That's why its hub caps are off. I like the looks of it without the caps on anyway.
Oldsfan
Rats... we've got an Oldsmobile show at the Museum this coming Sunday. Too bad it won't be on display then. Anyone know where in the swap meet it will be?
