We took the head off and are putting it back together and need the head bolt tourque. Any place online to get this info from?Thanks for any help we can get.Donnie
hwellens Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I have a mopar book that covers cars from 1936 - 1942. It states that if the engine has cap screws tighten to 65-70 ft-lbs and if it has studs with nuts tighten to 55-60 ft-lbs. Make sure all the threads are clean. There is also a sequence for tighting them (I can email you that if needed).
