shoreice Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I am near Toms River and can check this in person if anyone is interested. Call me at 732-492-0584.
NYBobP Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I talked with the dealer. The a/c has not been retrofitted, and the shifting console is a little rough(tape peeled, etc.) . Says he will take $9900, has had 12 calls, and will sell it within the hour.
Roadster90 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I spoke with Mike the sales consultant at length several times earlier this morning .... here is the chance that some may have been waiting for .... this is not a bad vehicle, not a bad price as well .... will not last long.Icing on the cake....was also told new top, never titled, and had all of the documentation.....
NYBobP Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I agree. e-Bay might push it up over 10K if it stays that long. Definitely worth the $.
Don B. Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 This car was in a local paper 5 years ago.Yes the same dealer.I tried to see it but I always got the owner daughter has it out.If the twit is going to drive it then why put it in an ad.Now it's probably stinks of cigarettes and vomit.I would not trust that car dealer at all.
Roadster90 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 It was the dealer principals wifes demo....kept it under the CO and ran with a dealer tag....never titled....I was also told that the car was presented to this dealer originally which would go hand in hand with not being titled....
Guest mgibson Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 A good friend called me this afternoon. He has purchased this car yesterday and it will be finding a new home in Raleigh, North Carolina! He is a fellow BCA member and I will be recruiting him for the Reatta Division.Martel Gibson

Guest mgibson Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Nic, not sure of your question. Are you asking me if I have a silver 91? If so, no---I have a 91 Maui Blue. See pic attached. Martel
Roadster90 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Sorry for being to vauge Martel....I meant did the buyer previously have a silver or gray '91 maybe? As far as that drop dead absolutely beautiful Maui...Well, I have expressed my envy to you several times before Nic
Guest F14CRAZY Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Reminds me...at the Homecoming a gentleman with a '90 Select 60 had the original letter to the dealer about it, displayed on his dash.
Guest imported_Mark K Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I believe that car was originally Ed Mertz's, the head of Buick. It had his name on the portfolio. That was really neat, probably one of the nicest ones there, and a great story.
Guest mgibson Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Nic---this is the "SS" purchaser's first Reatta. I will admit to encouraging him toward Reattas.Martel
Roadster90 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Sorry, Misunderstood your first post Martel.....Mike (sales consultant in New Jersey) called me back again yesterday by mistake (thought I was the person in NC)..... I was just thinking it was a previous Reatta owner. Discount my inquiry please .
