motoringicons Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 For Sale: Quite possibly the best 1934 Ford Three Window coupe that has been for sale in decades. This car has had one professional repaint about 15 years ago. The body is absolutely perfect-sills, rockers, floor pans, doors, deck lid, fenders, running boards, etc. have NEVER been damaged, patched, repaired or filled. The upolstery is excellent original-no tears, wearspots, etc. The woodgraining is original and near perfect. The panel fit is superb throughout. The grille is dead straight everywhere with excellent original plating. The car runs and drives like a new car. No rattles, everything is tight. It is extremely presentable throughout and ready to use. At 85,000.00 it is certainly expensive, but this is a very special and desirable early Ford V8 for the knowledable and appreciative enthusiast of correct, original vehicles. Located outside of Detroit. Call 734-913-9762 or motoringicons@hotmail.com
DizzyDale Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I think 85,000 is a fair price IF the car had the CORRECT 1934 engine and had a bag with 60,000 cash under the seat.Just one HONEST mans opinion.diz

rusty12 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I don't know. In looking at ads and auction results, 85K probably is fair for a good 1933/34 3- window. After all, fiberglass three windows with 350 chevy motors bring 30-60K. At Hershey last year, an steel 1934 3-window body only, with absolutely nothing else attached and lots of rusted out metal sold for almost 30K. A set of 3 window garnish moldings can bring several grand these days. Locally, a 1936 3-window sold just for 60K (I know the buyer and seller,so its true) and a 1934 is alot more desirable. The Dingman Ford auction in New Hamsphire sold early Ford V8s from 125k to almost 400K-and they didn't have a 1934 3 window. Let's face it, the days of great 1932-1934 Ford V8s for 25K, 1.50 for a gallon of gas, and 50 cents for a cup of coffee are over. I have a 1933 3 window, needing alot of help, that I will have near 100K in when I finish.-Rusty
1937hd45 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I'll bet the Dingman Collection had a '34 3Window but they desided to keep it. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
