Diz, thanks for bring this tradition to the forefront.

I'll make a note to be there...gives the DF'ers (Discussion Forum participants) a chance to put a face to a computer keyboard...

When you say "1:00 p.m. at Class 5: Motor Scooters/Cycles" I presume you are talking about the show on Saturday, right?. We usually start packing the booth up around noon, and It's non-stop until 3:00 or so until we are ready to leave.

Perhaps there could be one after close-of-business Thurs. or Fri.?

1:00 on Saturday at Class 5 has been the traditional meeting. Reason being, there are many that come just for the Saturday show.

If you want to arrange a get together on another day for those, of whom, are at Hershey for 4-5 days, please do it. Again, the meetings are totally informal chat sessions to meet DF folks.

Now I know why so many people were standing around by the motor cycles in the rain last year.

I was hoping they would all start em up and ride em around.

Oh well, maybe when it dry again.

Hi, Diz...

I still have the "DF Meeting" sign from the past few years...check that off your list.

Brewskis ?...welp, pard, the only thing I can suggest is ask Ron Flory to clean out the fuel tank of his '64 Allstate scooter and hook up a tap... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I used to work with a guy who had a Mullins red cap trailer hooked to the back of his '35 Auburn sedan. He modified the Mullins trailer to have a tap handle protruding from the back. He was a fixture at the Friday night party down at Auburn for years, and ran quite an operation out of that trailer. Such a thing would be great for a social-mixer, but alas, frowned upon by the offical rules of conduct at Hershey. Come to think of it, the Auburn police wern't exactly thrilled by B's Mullins--portable bar. But they never stopped him!

Diz, I'll be there, God willing and the creek don't rise! Perhaps we'll have some Shoo Fly Pie or for some of us perhaps some crow, Ah I shouldn't have said that, definately fowl!

I realize that as a newbie on the forum, I don't feel quite worthy of inclusion, but I will be at Hershey. I will be in Class 21A with my 1929 Model A Ford Phaeton. Hopefully I will be able to slip away at the appointed hour and stop by.

I'll have my portable 2-way internet satelite dish and wifi at my spaces.... that's if the Jeep Cherokee will make it up to Hershey as it's not working too good at the moment, will know in a few days. A after work social with a live internet chat session..... hummmmmm ????

Will have lots of chairs..... Facing the Giant Center entrance, on the opposite end of row, near the main highway.... Green Field, Row GCE 42 to 45.
