Tire size..Will it fit??

Seems like an awful wide tire for a 6" rim. I have 225x60x16s on 16x7" rims and consider that marginal. TireRack says it is the minumum for a BFG T/A so guess it will work.

The 225/60's will also give you more tire model options than the 215/65's

Yes. I have used 225/60/15s with success. I actually have a like new pair of BF Goodrichs and a good pair of Dunlop SP Sport 5000s that I had on my coupe if you're interested.
