88 Buick Reatta won't run

88 Reatta,having trouble with the motor running ,,car will start and idle good but when you give it the gas it backfires threw the throttle and just dies,put new coil,new wires and new module,have good fuel pressure,,need HELP,, thanks

Sounds like a misswired plug [wrong firing order].

On the coil pack there should be numbers by the spark plug pins.

Check and made sure the number is connected to the wire that

goes to that plug.

From the passanger side of the car,the side of the engine that

faces the radiator are the odd numbered plugs. #1 is closest to

the passanger fender.

Don's on the right track. Was it running OK before the tune up?

Could it be a bad coil pack?

As Don said, cylinder 1 is in the passenger front corner. 2 is passenger rear. Etc...6 is closest to the driver
